I am always editing, both my own, as well as others writing. Gets to be a bit annoying to the rebel in me. Ah...... the contradictions we all carry..... love you.
Now that I no longer say "like" in every sentence, I am trying to limit my use of exclamation points. Your father Elmer( cool to know that he was born in Pawtucket) would approve :)

Hah, now I know why I have an allergic reaction to "proactive". But alas, no impact at all on my florid use of exclamation points!!!
