The Man Who Woke Up the Buddha is an episodic novel about the (mis)adventures of a guy named Sid who wakes up from a stroke and realizes he's the Buddha—even though he knows next to nothing about Buddhism. It tells the story of Sid’s life as he, his family, friends—and the historic Buddha himself—deal with his terminal illness and irreverent (newly-discovered) Buddha nature.
